Celebrating Diversity and Community: The Third Annual Cypress Pride Picnic

As we wrap up pride month, the city of Cypress, California is gearing up for its most anticipated annual event: the Cypress Pride and Diversity Picnic. Scheduled for June 29th at Oak Knoll Park, this celebration promises to be a day filled with joy, inclusivity, and belonging.

The Cypress Pride Picnic has grown tremendously since its inception, drawing families, friends, and allies from Cypress and beyond. Ceci Balagot, a lifelong Cypress resident and Nickelodeon star known for their role in "Monster High," fondly recalls the inaugural event: "At our very first pride picnic, I was so surprised to see so many rainbow families! Seeing people come from Cypress as well as neighboring cities to celebrate love together will always be a magical experience."

The organizers have ensured that the event will be a safe and welcoming space for all community members. Special sensory spaces will be available and several support booths will be providing health resources and education for the community.

We can't forget the highly anticipated entertainment with performances from local artists and entertainers. Music, dance, inspiring speakers, and other live acts will keep the energy high and spirits soaring.
